QX800 uses the world’s first front and rear dual-lens QHD image quality (2560 X 1440) to record the sharpest ultra-high-definition video at any moment, which can achieve 3,686,400 pixels, which is 4 times higher than HD image quality, and can  vividly record ultra-high-definition video at any instant.


On the Live view screen, you can view the currently recorded video and operate the product by tapping on the LCD display. When you turn on electrical accessories and start the engine, the Live view screen will be displayed after closing the Caution screen.


The QX800 uses a front-view angle of 140 degrees and a rear-view angle of 180 degrees to minimize blind spots. It can record a wider range of clear video in the same frame, and can confirm clear QHD image quality records including widened viewing angle space.

The Sony Exmor R STARVIS image sensor used in QX800 provide the rich color sense and best resolution of QHD image quality.

The low illumination sensitivity of Exmor R can be improved by STARVIS technology to achieve high image quality in visible light and near-infrared region.


With the Ultra Night Vision feature, you can record videos that are up to 10 times brighter than videos
recorded without this feature. This feature is enabled by image signal processing (ISP) and real-time image
signal processing to improve the definition of videos recorded while driving or parking at night.

Wide Dynamic Range

When you are driving under bright sunlight, coming out of a tunnel, or getting under the shadow of a tall building etc, a sudden change in frontal light exposure levels can result in excessively bright or dark recordings.

The WDR function eliminates excessively bright spots on the recording to correct its color balance in order to ensure a clear image.

Automatic Exposure

sudden rise of light exposure caused by strong sunlight or headlight beams of oncoming vehicle may cause difficulties to assess the situation. Also, lack of lighting in a dark tunnel or night driving may pose the same problem.

The automatic light exposure function controls the level of light exposure to maintain vivid and clear video recordings in all circumstances.


ADAS supports a safety camera alert system, a lane departure warning system (LDWS), a forward collision warning system (FCWS), an urban forward collision warning system (uFCWS), a forward vehicle start alarm (FVSA), and a blind spot detection (BSD) system.
* To use ADAS, you must install the OBD2 cable (to provide vehicle operation information) or the external GPS module (to provide vehicle location and speed related information). 

Front Vehicle Departure Warning (FVDW)

When the vehicle drives at 30 km/h or above, the FCWS will detect forward collision danger via the realtime video image and warn the driver.

Safety Camera Alert

When the vehicle approaches or passes the speed limit zone, the safety camera alert system collects GPS signals and safety camera data. This system also provides road information about bus only lane, parking ticket trap zones, and overloading enforcement zone in real time to assist you while driving.

Lane Departure Warning System (LDWS)

Drowsy or distracted driving greatly increases the chance of an accident on the road.
The Lane Departure Warning System will alert the driver when the vehicle goes off lane in a speed over 50 km/h.


Continuous Recording Mode

This mode is activated automatically when you start the engine. Recorded videos are saved in one-minute segments with an auto-looping mechanism.

Event Recording Mode

The Active Impact Monitoring System will automatically store the video data ten seconds prior to and after a collision registered by the 3-axis G-Sensor.

Manual Recording Mode

Similar to a video camera, you can use the Manual Recording Mode to capture events that occur in front of your vehicle whether or not it is in motion. 



The intuitive and simple-to-use interface of THINKWARE DASH CAM allows you an easy and convenient viewing of your recorded videos. Through PC or Mac viewer, you can playback and download recorded videos along with your route history and speed record.

You can also change the dash cam settings, format the memory card, or install updates with just a few clicks on the viewer.
